Showing a tuberous shape, the summer truffle is usually the size of an egg.
The inside is beige to brown or grey with with ivory to yellowish strias.

Their smell is of fresh hazelnut, their delicate fragrance is of wild mushrooms.

Summer trufles are easily used in Summer cooking. Everybody will like it.

Tasting

Summer truffles are best grated or on a salad with olive oil and sea salt.

White truffles, also known as summer truffles or "tuber aestivum" are available on the Alain Truffe online store. These underground mushrooms come from the Périgord terroir and are harvested from April until the end of August, when the latter have reached maturity.

This product is found more and more on our plates, as its popularity increases over time. The summer truffle offers a subtler taste than the winter truffle and you can discover it on the online showcase, available in different forms. The tasting of this truffle is possible by being raw and cut into strips in order to benefit from all its aromas.
