Visit a truffle fields

This tour lasts half a day. You will start to the visit of the truffle fields with Alain.

The visit of the truffle fields was presented by Alain in the authenthic territory of Périgord (Dordogne).You will have the opportunity to see the truffle digging with his dogs (digging = harvesting the truffle)

Alain alos practices the digging so called "fly". You will thus have the pleasure of discovering his activity ans his passion for the truffle.

if you want, you can buy freshly picked truffles on site and bring to your home one of the most precious gastronomic product of the Dordogne.

Running of the visit:

the departure of the visit begins at the truffle farm at 02:00 p.m. and a meal of fresh truffles later in the afternoon

Visit of truffle fiels: between 2 and 3 hours.
The meal : about 1 hour

We offer 2 formulas :

Visit of truffle fields : duration 2h at 3h (20 € /people)
Visit of truffle fields with tasting : duration 4h (75 €/people, 4 people minimum)

Tasting the Périgord truffle:

Our appetizers toasted with “truffled butter” and Serrano ham
Accompanied by his glass of wine

During your visit, if you wish continue to visit Dordogne, we will be able to show you nearby place to visit

We do not provide transportation, you will have to get to the truffle field by the means of transport you have chosen.

there are no medical contraindications, however, you will walk about 1 to 2 km. You will need a pair of boots and we advise you to bring rain gear in case of bad weather.

Possible to cancel the visit. Howerver, the deadline for canceling is 15 days before the date of the visit (Full refund).
